Tanners Creek Horticultural Services tries to accommodate the taste of all Hampton Roads gardeners. With that in mind, we carry a wide selection of plants from the old stand bys to the unusual and hard to find. We usually try to carry what is in season, what our Nursery Crew can produce and sometimes what we can purchase at the best market price so we can pass the savings on to you. For that reason, our inventory changes all the time so it is impractical to list all the available plants here.

However, we do specialize in certain plants that you can pretty much count on always being available. Herbs, shade plants and pond plants are our field of expertise! Most of the plants we carry are either locally grown or produced by our employees at our own Nursery just down the street.

We do not depend on heavy automation, machinery or harsh chemicals. On occasion, we do have to spray solutions to combat various problems, but for the most part, we try to utilize all other resources before using any strong chemicals. And you can rest assured that we never use chemicals on any of our herbs or vegetables! Our fertilizers are all natural.
