Senior Adult Day Services
The Senior Adult Day Support Program is designed to offer functional and age appropriate supports to adults with Intellectual Disabilities or other developmental disabilities who are at least 50 years of age and/or exhibit early onset of dementia and/or other age-related disabilities.
The hours of program operation are 9:00am to2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Seniors in this program are offered community integration, recreation, arts and crafts and self-help training opportunities that focus on maintaining independence and personal health. This is achieved by specialized attention and training in the areas of coping skills, socialization, communication, behavior development, reality based orientation, personal care, environmental awareness and community access. We believe that by assisting people in maintaining their skills, abilities and interests at any age creates the capacity to thrive, not merely survive. Aging is a normal part of the life cycle, bringing changes that challenge us to grow. Eggleston Services is committed to helping aging persons meet the challenges of aging, enjoying the best quality of life.
