The Eggleston Automotive Center (EAC), located at 7433 Sewells Point Road in Norfolk, opened in November, 2004. The opening of the EAC is a result of the tremendous growth of our vehicle donation program over the past several years. The facility will be used to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities who have an interest in working on cars and trucks.
Vehicles donated to our organization will be cleaned and prepared for auctions to be held at the facility on Saturday mornings. Our associates will be trained to perform minor maintenance functions such as oil changes, battery replacements, etc. and they will learn the best practices for cleaning and detailing vehicles. Other associates will be trained to take digital pictures of the vehicles and upload the photos to our web site in order for potential buyers to be able to view the vehicles and bid on them from the comfort of their homes.
