Since 1990, Eggleston has been providing Food Service Workers for the military in Tidewater. Beginning at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital Cafeteria and at the Naval Station Galley two years later, the AbilityOne (formerly know as JWOD) sponsored program has grown dramatically over the years. Today we a\not only provide workers for these two dining facilities but we are also the prime contractor in six other Navy galleys all over Eastern Virginia as well as the turnkey sub-contractor to the Sodexho Corporation for the Marine Corp Mess Hall at Camp Allen.  Through the AbilityOne set aside program, hundreds of jobs have been created in military food service here in Tidewater.
