Erin is very involved in the community and home environment. This year, she threw the first pitch at Eggleston’s Disabilities Day at the Park and will be a radio guest. She helps her roommates when they need assistance and decorates the home.

What obstacles have the nominee successfully overcome?

Erin does not let her diagnosis of Down Syndrome and hearing impairment slow her down. She is a gifted writer and a leader in the home.

What is the most notable accomplishment for this nominee?

Erin won gold in the Special Olympics this year for swimming, ran in the OK5K, threw the first pitch at Harbor Park, and is steps closer to having steady community employment.

What does the nominee want shared about their personal achievements?

When asked, Erin is proud of her helpful heart. She enjoys being a new aunt, and helping out her friends at work and at home.
