We are currently seeking applicants for a full time Facility Maintenance Technician.
Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining facilities and keeping equipment in optimal operating condition. Performs repairs to corporate and facility equipment and properties. Must have good knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing and mechanical (HVAC) systems. Must have own personal vehicle and work tools.
Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Must have eight or more years of general maintenance experience with a minimum of three(3) years’ experience in an industrial setting and knowledge preferred in commercial laundry equipment. Experience and knowledge in carpentry and commercial electric systems. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Ability to supervise up to two other individuals. Use computer to complete work tasks. The work is performed in an industrial setting. Must be able to tolerate a work environment that is prone to high and low temperature fluctuations, dust, dirt, lint, etc. Work may also be performed outside during times of inclement weather. Pre-employment drug testing, clearance through criminal background investigation, and acceptable driving record required.
