Checkered Flag has a long history with Eggleston’s Document Shredding. Last year, the Company decided to switch to a nation-wide shredding service. Worst mistake ever! After six painful months of poor service with the other provider, we reached out to Eggleston to see if they had availability. Lucky for us, they did! We undervalued how important it was to our Company to have a local provider who knows us, understands our needs, can accommodate special pickups, is responsive to emails and phone calls, and, most importantly, shows up on schedule with a friendly disposition. We cannot say enough good things about Eggleston, and we are thrilled to have them back servicing all of Checkered Flag’s locations!
Last year, we were introduced to Eggleston and their multitude of services including commercial shredding services. From the onset, the Eggleston team was professional, consultative and attentive. Even better, their services saved us money from a previous partner! Our shredding project involved numerous locations throughout the state. Melvin Odom has been contracted for over 24 months to assemble various components and within that time Eggleston’s duties in production has been accurate and delivered in a timely fashion.
Eggleston are willing and determined to offer cooperation and willingness to meet our goals, during a push month which a record number of products were ordered. The Eggleston team were able to complete the required quantity before the deadline for shipment Melvin has been an integral part of our team which lead to a 100% successful year.
Over the last two years, I have had a great partnership with Melvin and the entire team at Eggleston. They are always willing to step up and take on additional projects. One of the projects that they have been doing since the partnership started is sorting cords and remotes that we get back from customers. I know this is a very difficult process because the cords are mixed in like spaghetti and the team does a great job sorting, cleaning, and rewrapping for future use. This has helped Cox Communications work towards their Zero to Waste initiative to keep waste out of the landfill.

I’ve been working in Eggleston’s Document Shredding division for five years now, helping our Customer Service Representatives. We pick up papers that need to be shredded, load them onto our trucks, unload them at the shredding building. I know all of our customers, and I can save our drivers time because I know where every customer keeps the bins. We serve individuals and businesses like law firms, public schools, nonprofit organizations and even the Internal Revenue Service – so we have to be sure our work is secure.
Eggleston has been a reliable partner of Operation Smile for many years. Thanks to its work with Eggleston Document Conversion, Operation Smile provides a global volunteer workforce of thousands of physicians, nurses, researchers, and other health care professionals.
We first entrusted Eggleston with the assembly and mailing of vital policy statements to our stores because we believed they were capable and we wanted to support the people with disabilities in our community. We continue to use Eggleston because they are great to work with, deliver as promised, and we know it makes a difference by creating more job opportunities for their workforce.
