For nearly 70 years, Eggleston has been a guiding light for adults with disabilities, committed to more than education, training, and employment. Our goal is to create safe, supportive environments where individuals with disabilities can live healthy, happy lives. A key part of this mission is providing different types of group homes that promote independence and personal growth. The Congregate Living Program is designed to meet the diverse needs of adults with disabilities, providing tailored living environments that encourage community and self-reliance.
Understanding Congregate Living
Congregate living is a structured housing model that promotes community and independence among adults with disabilities. By providing a shared living space where residents can socialize, develop life skills, and work towards greater self-reliance, our commitment to creating personalized living environments ensures that each resident receives the support they need while enjoying the company of peers in a communal setting. This approach enhances their daily living experience and encourages personal growth and development.
