Toshiko has had three different positions while employed with Eggleston. Toshiko completes all duties as assigned to her without hesitation and always goes above and beyond her job description. More importantly, Toshiko puts forward the efforts of improving the quality of life for others. She advocates strongly for those supported here at Eggleston. Toshiko continued to seek out information, trainings and courses that enhance the knowledge she has for the individuals she supports. Toshiko is committed to continuous learning and training of others.
What has this nominee done to promote the mission and corporate values of Eggleston?
I consider Toshiko to be a responsible, committed and competent individual. After four years, I have come to know her extremely well and I think of her as someone who commits to the mission and values of this organization. Toshiko has a passion for ensuring individuals live up to their full potential while incorporating independency. Toshiko will advocate for what is right and will seek out several options to ensure the individual receives all supports required to achieve personal objectives. She has recently taken a floater position, freeing up her schedule to work at all houses during all shifts. With her previous experiences, she is able to implement person-centered plans, complete assessments and develop tasks for the individuals we support. Toshiko takes time to help others, fill in as needed, typically on call. She does this without hesitation or frustration. She exudes class and promotes synergy.

Toshiko is loving, kind, compassionate and is a pleasure to work with. She understands Eggleston’s mission and fulfills it by helping others grow through her commitment to training and educating those supported.

Ms. Toshiko and I are great friends/co-workers, and we have known each other for a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Toshiko and came to know her as a truly valuable asset to absolutely any team. She is honest, dependable and incredibly hard working. Beyond that, she always has an impressive and positive attitude who always can take responsibility to do her work.
Her knowledge to support individuals and expertise is a huge advantage to our entire residential team. Along with her undeniable talent, she has always been a joy to work with. She is a true team player and always manages to foster positive discussions and bring out the best in other employees. Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Ms. Toshiko to receive the award as a dedicated and knowledgeable employee and an all-around great person.
