We are currently seeking applicants for a full time Accounting Clerk.
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for ensuring all daily poundage and delivery ticket data is accurately recorded on the appropriate forms and maintaining customer files to include contract, modifications, and billing invoices for the period of performance stated in the contracts. Confirms that correct contract pricing is reflected in the daily delivery tickets and monthly invoices. Communicates directly with customers and Eggleston staff.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, have the ability to accurately enter data in Excel spreadsheets and have knowledge of sorting, totaling, formatting and printing functions. Experience with inventory management, delivery documents and customer invoicing preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing using the English language. The work is primarily office based but applicant must be able to perform work safely in an industrial environment subject to high and low temperatures and dust, be free of tuberculosis in a communicable form, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, be able follow verbal instructions, maintain production goals and have the ability to stay focused. Must pass pre-employment drug screen. Must be available to work Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 am -4:30 pm.
