Marie traveled to Washington DC accompanied by Eggleston Vice President of Government Contracts Chris Hoagland and Human Resource Coordinator Alice Arney.

The annual awareness campaign takes place every June in Washington, D.C. Throughout the three-day conference, Eggleston engaged in a variety of grassroots advocacy activities to educate members of Congress on disability employment issues and the role they must play in fostering an inclusive work culture.

Marie met with representatives and staff for Senator Tim Kaine, Senator Mark Warner, Representative Randy Forbes, Representative Rob Wittman, and Representative Bobby Scott.
