At Eggleston, we service a population of individuals with disabilities who spend their weekdays at a number of our locations in Day Support Programs.

What are Day Support Programs? Programs that are designed to improve the quality of life for
individuals with disabilities through a social network of friends, a caring staff and meaningful and stimulating activities.

What is their purpose? To help those who attend develop and balance the emotional,
intellectual, and physical dimensions of their lives.

How can I Serve? By giving your time and talent to share with our associates attending these
programs and impacting their lives through valuable life experiences.

Through Excellence in Action, together we can help people with disabilities gain confidence,
independence and self-sufficiency with meaningful, enjoyable activities!

Big thanks to Potts n Paints, a wonderful local, family-owned business in Chesapeake, who came to our Military Highway location this past week to teach an art class and help our folks create the beautiful Turtle paintings you see below! Our Associates had SO MUCH FUN making these paintings and we hope to do this again soon!

Check out their website or facebook page and go paint something fun with your family, too! https://www.pottsnpaints.net/

Eggleston hosted a quarterly Service Tenure Luncheon today at the corporate office on Ingleside Road in Norfolk. The luncheon honored 16 people for their years of service. Between remarks from our President and COO, Neil McNulty and our CEO, Paul Atkinson, more than 30 people attended lunch and enjoyed visiting with friends, family, and colleagues.

Thank You to all our honorees for your time and service to Eggleston!

A Special “Thank you” to Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) students for all of the hard work at the Eggleston Garden Center Greenhouse during their Community Impact Day on Saturday, August 10th!
Over the course of 3 hours, they painted walls, organized, removed debris, mulched the entrance, and so much more! Hundreds of students fanned out across Hampton Roads to support not only Eggleston but also organizations like The Southeastern Virginia Foodbank, For Kids, The YMCA, and Park Place School.
Service in the name of others is truly meaningful and fulfilling to all who are involved. We hope this Impact Day meant as much to the EVMS Students as it did to us!

Thank you again for your time and energy EVMS!
